Transportation:
There are three main airports for your arrival in São Paulo, Brazil. Now, we'll help you get to Barão Geraldo, the district where Unicamp is located.
(a) From Guarulhos Airport (GRU) to Campinas:
- At Guarulhos Airport (GRU) go to TERMINAL 2, PLATFORM 10 and take LIRABUS.
- Get off at the Bus Terminal in Campinas.
- In the arrivals area, take an Uber, 99 or taxi to Barão Geraldo (for IFCH - the Unicamp institute hosting the event -, set the destination as: Rua Cora Coralina, 100, Cidade Universitária Zeferino Vaz, CEP 13083-896, Campinas/SP;
- Or walk to the Metropolitan Terminal and look for line 331 - BARÃO GERALDO TERMINAL / RODOVIÁRIA (The sign in front is TERM. BARÃO GERALDO). Once you arrive at the Barão Geraldo Terminal to get to Unicamp, you should take circular bus lines 337 (UNICAMP/TERM. BARÃO GERALDO) or 329 (TERM. BARÃO GERALDO/CIDADE JUDICIÁRIA). To know which stop to get off at, use apps like Maps, Moovit, or Cittamobi (for IFCH – the Unicamp institute hosting the event set the destination as: Rua Cora Coralina, 100, Cidade Universitária Zeferino Vaz, CEP 13083-896, Campinas/SP).
Attention: buses in Campinas DO NOT ACCEPT CASH, it is necessary to purchase a QR code before boarding. You can ask for information at the bus terminal information desk or obtain it at this link.
(b) From Congonhas Airport (CGH) to Campinas:
- At Congonhas Airport (CGH), go to the sidewalk in the boarding and disembarking area and look for the LIRABUS ticket counter.
- Follow steps 2, 3 and 4 of the Guarulhos airport topic.
(c) From Viracopos Airport (VCP) to Campinas:
- At Viracopos Airport (VCP), go to the domestic arrivals area and look for the
LIRABUS counter.
